Hall Green Junior School is a popular, oversubscribed 4 form entry Junior school. We have very able and talented children and an enthusiastic, hard working staff team.
We are looking to recruit a Inclusion/Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator to join our highly successful school.
We are looking for candidates who:
- will be hands on, getting involved with teaching, learning and modelling good practice for all staff,
- have a warm, friendly personality.
- holds or is willing to start and complete the national award for SEN co-ordination
- qualified teacher with recent experience at KS2 involving successful SEND support within an inclusive classroom
- has effective skills when working with children with a mix of difficulties and needs - eg SEND, LAC, Pupil Premium and.
- has evidence of closing the gap for these children
- is hard working and adaptable to change
- has great communication skills and a proven track record of working well with staff and parents,
- is able to put children at the heart of all they do
- wants to take full advantage of the opportunities we can offer in developing this role in our school
This role is non-class based but will have a teaching commitment.
