Charity Fundraising
In the first week we collected 475 items of food to give to the Food Bank.
In the third week, we collected 465 items. This week we have collected 516.
Birmingham Food Bank is delighted with the our efforts. Their stocks are low - as soon as the food comes in it is distributed to needy families
Many thanks to all who are suporting our efforts.
26 April the BBC News featured Food Banks on their national news programmes. Last year Food Banks supported 68,000 families. This year the demand has reached over 120,000 nationally.
