Hall Green Junior School has a federated Governing Body with the Infant School.  The Governing Body has just gone through a statutory restructuring process following procedures laid down by Birmingham Local Authority and the Department for Education.

Governors hold a full Governing Body Meeting at least once a term.  As well as this, committees meet during the term.  The committee structure for the Governing Body is:

Strategy Group, Keeping Children Safe, Standards, Finance and Staffing.

To help achieve this we have a long-term strategic plan for the schools:

Outstanding achievement and progress - to consistently achieve well above the national average in terms of pupil outcomes and progress in reading, writing and maths.

Excellent Teaching and Learning - to continually develop the effectiveness of teaching through high quality professional development to ensure we meet the needs of all our children so they make excellent progress Inspirational curriculum - to continue to develop a broad and rich school curriculum that excites and engages all pupils.
